Delete your Erafasting account

You can delete your Erafasting account and the personal data stored with it at any time. Erafasting is the intermittent-fasting Android app from BoosterDigital(package com.erafasting.app). Deletion is permanent. This page does not require an Erafasting login.

Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open Erafasting on your Android device.
2. Open Profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. The account and the data listed below are deleted. This cannot be undone.

Use this path if your account is anonymous and has no email. The in-app control is the one that can see that user ID.

Delete it by email

If you cannot open the app — you no longer have the device, or you cannot reach the account — email us. You do not need to create a website account.

1. Email [email protected]with the subject “Delete my Erafasting account”.
2. If you signed in with an email, send the request from that address.
3. If you never added an email, include the user ID from Profile, plus any display name and the approximate date you installed the app, so we can find the anonymous account.
4. We confirm and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting the account removes the Erafasting data we store for it:

• the Supabase user ID and the anonymous account;
• the optional display name and the optional sign-in email, if you added them;
• sex, birth year, height, activity level, and health-screening answers;
• weight entries;
• fasting sessions;
• water logs;
• the push token;
• the consent record for health information and analytics;
• PostHog analytics tied to that user ID, by a deletion or detach request to PostHog;
• Sentry records tied to that user ID, where Sentry allows deletion.

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups. Deleted data can remain in our database provider’s encrypted backups for up to 30 days, until those backups expire. We do not use backup copies to restore a deleted account.
• Subscriptions. Purchase records stay with Google Play and RevenueCat under their own retention rules. Deleting your Erafasting account does not cancel Premium. Cancel the subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or you may continue to be billed.
• Advertising ID. The Android advertising ID is a device identifier used by Google AdMob on the free version. It is not stored as part of your Erafasting profile. Reset or delete it in Android settings if you want it changed. We do not keep your health information with AdMob.
• Untied diagnostics. Crash logs that were never tied to your user ID can remain until Sentry’s ordinary short retention ends.
• Law and disputes. We may retain a specific record where the law requires it, or where we need it to resolve a dispute, security incident, or chargeback. That retention lasts only as long as that reason does.

How long deletion takes

• In the app: immediate.
• By email to [email protected]: within 30 days of a request we can match to an account.
• Backups: up to 30 days after that, as described above.
